Fomont 2025 Upgraded Bucket Lid Mouse Trap — Auto-Reset, Humane, 5-Gallon Fit

Smart, humane rodent control with the Fomont bucket lid trap

Meet the 2025 upgraded design from Fomont: a durable 5-gallon bucket trap that pairs a metal bait cage with an auto-reset mechanism. Concealing bait under the trap helps preserve the bait’s scent and reduces direct access by rodents or insects, promoting longer intervals between replenishments. The auto-reset feature supports continuous trapping over days or weeks, minimizing hands-on maintenance and keeping the focus on safer spaces for your home or workspace.

Key design improvements

• METAL BAIT CAGE: Conceals bait beneath the trap, reducing nuisance access and maintaining a consistent scent trail that guides rodents toward the capture area.
• AUTO-RESET with LONG-TERM DEPLOYMENT: After each capture, the trap re-engages, enabling ongoing monitoring without constant restocking.
• DOUBLE PEDALS and DOUBLE RAMPS: Enhanced engagement for larger rats while staying effective for smaller mice; compatible with most 5-gallon buckets whose openings are under 11.6 inches.

Safe, humane, and versatile

• PETS AND CHILDREN FRIENDLY: Designed to minimize exposure and maintain a sanitary setup in shared spaces.
• CAN BE USED ANYWHERE: Suitable for indoor and outdoor use—kitchens, chicken coops, barns, workshops, and more.
• HUMANE HANDLING: Captured rodents can be released unharmed, or disposed of via water to avoid health concerns.

Practical tips for setup and use

Before use, verify that your bucket opening diameter is under 11.6 inches. Place the trap along activity paths—near walls or food sources—and pair with a simple maintenance routine to keep the bait scent consistent. By planning ahead, you can create a discreet, low-maintenance rodent control option for various spaces.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for placement, cleaning and electrical safety. Devices and traps of this type are not EPA-registered and results vary by species, siting and conditions.
