ScinDa Squirrel-Proof Bird Feeder – Heavy Duty 5lb, Weight-Activated & Weatherproof

Overview

Transform your backyard into a thriving feathered habitat with the ScinDa Squirrel-Proof Bird Feeder. This rugged, weight-activated feeder is designed to deter intruding squirrels while letting small to mid-sized birds enjoy seed-rich meals. The result is a cleaner feeding experience and more visible visits from cardinals, bluebirds, finches, chickadees, and other garden favorites.

Smart, weight-activated feeding

The core feature is a responsive perch system: when a squirrel steps on, the mechanism gently closes access to the feeding ports. Small birds continue to feed unimpeded, so you can observe a reliable, calmer feeding scene without constant rodent interference. This design focuses on practicality and natural bird behavior, offering a new level of backyard enjoyment without promising specific results.

Easy filling and rain protection

Fill with up to 5 pounds of seed through a wide-mouth top lid that opens smoothly for mess-free refilling. An integrated awning shields the feeding ports from rain, helping seeds stay dry while providing shade for perching birds during warm days.

Versatility for all birds and seeds

Perfect for a variety of backyard visitors—from chickadees and finches to cardinals and bluebirds. It accepts common seed mixes such as sunflower and safflower, making it a flexible choice for mixed-feeder setups and ongoing yard bird-watching.

Durable, weather-ready construction

Built with rust-resistant metal and a waterproof roof, this feeder stands up to the elements. A sturdy metal hook makes hanging simple on trees, poles, or brackets, so you can position it where you’ll enjoy the most bird activity.

Thoughtful gift and ready to use

Whether you’re shopping for a nature-loving neighbor, a homeowner with a garden, or a family new to backyard birding, this feeder makes a thoughtful gift.
