Seentech 799579 Air Cleaner Foam Filter Replacement for BS – Fits 08P500/09P600/09P700 & 550E-550Ex Series

Overview

Meet the Seentech 799579 Air Cleaner Foam Filter Replacement, a ready-to-install foam element designed to work with BS air-cleaner housings. This part replaces 799579 and is built to help keep dust and debris from reaching the engine’s intake. While no filter can guarantee pristine conditions in every environment, a high-quality foam element can support cleaner air flow and dependable maintenance intervals, translating to smoother operation during regular lawn care tasks.

Crafted for real-world use, the filter is part of a dependable six-pack, making it convenient to refresh your mower’s intake as part of routine upkeep. The compact foam design holds its shape under vibration, providing a reliable barrier against grit while remaining flexible enough to compress for a snug seal in the housing.

Compatibility and Fit

The 799579 foam filter is engineered for broad compatibility. It fits with rounds of engines including 08P500, 09P600, and 09P700 series, and is compatible with most 550E-550Ex Series 09P000 and 08P000 units. It also supports various Troy-Bilt and AYP models such as 593J02 450e/500e primer style 5.5hp engines and TB110, TB115, TB554 lawn mowers in the 300E, 450E, and 500E series. This wide range means you can refresh several machines with a single purchase.

Designed to slip into your existing air-cleaner housing with a precise fit, this replacement aims to minimize downtime and simplify maintenance planning. The foam’s porous texture traps particles before they can reach the engine, helping maintain steady air flow and reducing the risk of unplanned service calls.

Quality and Filtration

Constructed from durable, high-quality foam, the Seentech filter delivers robust filtration across typical mowing conditions. The material balance between resilience and porosity supports repeated use while maintaining a reliable air intake barrier. The filter’s soft yet springy surface helps it seat securely without excessive compression, supporting a consistent seal during operation.

In everyday use, you may notice steadier engine response and more predictable idle characteristics as dust and debris are filtered out before entry. These observations reflect potential benefits, not guarantees, and depend on conditions, maintenance habits, and overall equipment care.

Easy Installation and Return Options

Installation is designed to be quick and tool-free, so you can swap out a spent filter and resume mowing with minimal downtime.

What you get: a foam air-cleaner element built for durability, a straightforward replacement process, and a policy that supports your purchase decision.
