Tempo WP Ultra Pest Control Insecticide Powder – Bayer, 14.8 oz (420 g)

Overview

Tempo WP Ultra from Bayer is a wettable powder concentrate designed to deliver rapid pest knockdown and a lasting residual on turf, landscape ornamentals, and select indoor-outdoor spaces where allowed by the label. The active ingredient, cyfluthrin, targets the nervous system of a broad range of pests with a careful, label-guided application. The formulation is odorless and dries to a clear, nearly invisible film that helps protect treated areas without a strong scent.

Designed for outdoor perimeter treatments and landscape care, Tempo WP Ultra is commonly used around foundations, garden beds, and turf edges to create a protective barrier. It also supports control on trees and ornamentals, with versatility for certain food-handling settings when permitted by the label. When used correctly, the product tends to minimize disruption to nearby people and pets, while offering practical pest management options for busy outdoor spaces.

What makes Tempo WP Ultra useful

• Fast knockdown of many crawling and flying insects, helping protect spaces quickly.
• Residual activity that can continue to affect pests for roughly 30 days, with longer protection in favorable conditions (up to 90 days).
• Odor-free formulation with a clear, powdery residue that dries on treated surfaces.
• Broad spectrum coverage for outdoor perimeter treatments, ornamentals, turf, trees, and some food-handling environments when allowed by the label.
• Easy mixing with water and spray application using standard equipment; yields typically range from 21 to 42 gallons from a 420 g tub, depending on rate and pest.

How to use Tempo WP Ultra

Tempo WP Ultra is a wettable powder concentrate designed to be mixed with water and applied with a sprayer. After application, the product dries to leave a residual that remains contact-active for pests. Always read the label before use to follow exact rates, timing, and safety guidelines.

• Active Ingredient: Cyfluthrin 10% — the chemistry behind fast knockdown and residual protection.
• Application notes: Tempo WP leaves a powdery film that may be visible on dark surfaces.
• Yield: Each 420 g tub yields approximately 21–42 gallons of spray solution depending on pest and rate.
• Safety: Follow label directions for PPE, mixing, and restricted-entry intervals to protect people, pets, and plants.

In settings where a visible powder film is a concern, some users opt for a liquid concentrate such as Tempo SC Ultra. Tempo WP Ultra remains a versatile option for perimeter, turf, and ornamental management when used as directed by the label. Always apply according to the label and consider the specific site and pests you’re targeting for best results.

Always read and follow the product label. Use only on the pests and sites the label lists, at the label rate and interval, and observe the stated re-entry times for people, pets and pollinators.
