How to use and care

Place the trap along active animal runways or entry points and test the trigger before use. Position bait or scent attractants as appropriate for local wildlife. After use, wipe down the cage and allow it to dry before folding flat for storage. The handle area includes protection to reduce direct contact with the animal, enhancing safety for you and the animal.

Maintenance is simple: inspect the galvanized steel for signs of wear, ensure the door mechanisms move smoothly, and store in a dry area to prolong life. This approach aligns with practical, non-pressured usage for occasional wildlife management.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for placement, cleaning and electrical safety. Devices and traps of this type are not EPA-registered and results vary by species, siting and conditions.
