Candana Charcoal Basket for Big Green Egg Large 14in – Stainless Steel Ash Basket

Overview

The Candana Charcoal Basket is a heavy‑duty stainless steel ash basket designed for 18‑inch kamado grills, including the Big Green Egg Large. Its round form and precision construction support a consistent grilling routine with balanced airflow and reliable ash management. This basket sits inside the grill to hold charcoal securely, promoting even heat and reduced crowding of fuel as you cook.

Safety and handling

• The wire ends lie on the same level and are chamfered to protect hands during setup and cleaning.
• Solid construction helps you shake and redistribute ash without loosening or warping over time.

Airflow and burning efficiency

• Round design and carefully spaced wires create a generous flow path around the charcoal, helping fuel stay lit and air circulate for a more even burn.
• The design minimizes charcoal spill‑through while still allowing thorough combustion around the perimeter.

Durability and material quality

• Professional spot welding delivers strong joints that resist separation after repeated use.
• Made from heavy duty 304 stainless steel with an electrolytic finish for lasting toughness and corrosion resistance.

Dimensions and fit

Top diameter 13.7 inches, bottom diameter 9 inches, height 4 inches. Wire thickness combines 4.5 mm and 6 mm for a sturdy yet flexible grate. This size is a practical replacement for Large Big Green Egg and compatible 18 inch grills such as Kamado Joe Classic.

Usage and maintenance

When it is time to clear ash, you can shake the basket without concerns about sealing failures. The design supports repeated sessions and easy cleanup, helping you focus on your meal rather than the chore.

With the Candana Charcoal Basket, you gain a reliable, durable accessory that pairs with your 18 inch Kamado grill setup to support steady heat, simple ash handling, and long‑lasting performance. Consider it as a practical upgrade that aligns with everyday grilling needs and expectations.
